HR69 Villa Sunflower

Description

For a holiday spent in peace and quiet, among lush nature, warm weather, gentle winds and mesmerizing fragrances of all kinds of flora, you came to the right place. Palmižana is a popular name for the small island of St. Klement. It is one of many islands in the unique Paklinski archipelago, renowned for its beauty. In the southern Adriatic sea, Palmižana is located just off the coast of the town of Hvar on the island of Hvar, a place which has the most sunny hours of all others in the Mediterranean. Because of its beauty, Paklinski archipelago was proclaimed a protected nature park.
Villa Sunflower is a lovely house amidst the lush flora of St. Klement, providing an awesome view of the bay because of its high position. Aside from the view, another plus is that you only need a few minutes walk down to the sand and pebble beach. The villa’s exterior is made in a traditional spirit of the Mediterranean, with some details added for artistic flavor. The house is made of stone in different shades that suit each other very well, with lighter rocks around the windows and darker between them. Traditionality is further ephasized by the courtyard paved in unshaped rock and enclosed by a stone drywall. There are some plants within the courtyard, but the whole surrounding area seems like one huge garden full of various kinds of vegetation, a definitive plus for every nature lover out there. There is a medium sized wooden table with a set of three chairs and a bench on the side of the villa, suitable for outdoor meals. The other side of the villa, with the oval wall has a tile covered floor in white and yellow, with a white metal coffee table resting atop a yellow circle of lovely shattered tiles.
The villa’s interior follows the Mediterranean theme of the exterior, with great attention to detail and a great overall combination of colors that support the very name of the villa. The floor is covered by beige tiles for the most part, aside from an area in the living room with a nicely designed flower made of shattered tiles, much like the one on the terrace. Directly above it is a ceiling painted yellow and orange, with a cool little lamp positioned on the center of the supporting beams. Some of the walls are painted other than white, like the yellow one, the blue one, or the one covered in pretty tiles. There are many lovely paintings throughout the interior, that tie this whole unique place together. The villa has 2 large living rooms that can provide an extra sleeping space, 2 bedrooms with king-size beds and 2 bathrooms. The interior is air conditioned.
As far as food and drinks are concerned, the before mentioned kitchenette has a small stove and a small fridge – it is suitable for the preparation of simple meals. Regarding more complex, domestic meals, there is a restaurant and a café bar right next to the bungalows, a lovely place covered by a bamboo canopy which serves delicious meals. There is a number of places to explore within the Paklinski archipelago, including more than a few high quality restaurants, captivating isolated beaches and much more. For more information regarding exploration or accommodation, feel free to ask. We wish you a pleasant stay!
